Buffalo, N.Y. - The employees of AP Wagner chipped in for charity this holiday season by holding donation drives for two programs, Toyland, sponsored by Haven House of Buffalo and Operation Troop Care sponsored by the Western New York chapter of The American Red Cross. AP Wagner set up a specialized "donation station" for each program. The stations were set up from Nov. 25 - Dec. 6, 2002. This gave the employees the opportunity to drop off donations and learn more about each of the programs. The employees of AP Wagner came together to help make each individual program a success. More than 300 items were collected such as gift certificates, new toys, clothes and cosmetics for Toyland, the program run by Haven House, a battered women's shelter located in Buffalo. AP Wagner employees also donated personal toiletry items to Operation Troop Care, a program designed to help troops stationed overseas by providing them with personal toiletry items that are hard to come by where they may be stationed. AP Wagner employees raised enough personal toiletry items to help 100 soldiers. The owners of AP Wagner, Donald and Michael Jarmusz, made a generous contribution to each charity to help their employees with their cause, helping to make each donation drive a huge success. AP Wagner is the largest distributor of appliance parts and accessories in the Northeast and has 17 branch locations throughout the United States and Canada. AP Wagner's main headquarters are located at 2205 George Urban Boulevard in Depew, N.Y.
