When should I use the range vent hood?WARNING! To avoid personal injury or death, disconnect your appliance from its power source before you start any troubleshooting or repair work. Use caution when working inside any appliance. You don’t need to use it for most things, but use your discretion. If you’re cooking a lot for a holiday or having guests, use a vented range hood . If you’re boiling a lot, you may want to vent all that excess moisture outside. Also, it is recommended to always turn on the range vent hood when you're cooking on high heat or want to flambet food. Watch out for fire hazards! You must clean the grease traps regularly, as well as clean the vent ducting itself. Over time grease will build up in the vents. This is very dangerous. You should keep an A B C fire extinguisher in the kitchen. Never use water on a grease fire. Related Topics From Our Repair Forum
