The basic idea behind the Venta-Airwasher is brilliant in its simplicity: water is the filter. The disk stacks rotate in the water. Air is drain in and washed by the water. Even the very finest of particles (as small as 10 microns, or 10/1000 mm) are trapped in the water. At the same time, pure water evaporates. The air is automatically humidified to the correct percentage by cold evaporation, acknowledged to be the best method.
